All Web pages posted on the district's server(s) are the property of the school district. District web pages may be used, edited, or deleted as necessary by the district. For purposes of citation, the most recent producer (editor) of a page is considered the author. The producer of a page retains the right to edit, re-purpose, distribute, or sell component material subject by written approval of the Superintendent of Schools. Web pages and their components will not be sold for profit by the district except by agreement and/or contract with the producer.

No other outside agency/organization/educational institution may maintain a presence on the XYZ Public Schools Web without the knowledge and approval of the XYZ administration. No computers other than those belonging to the Department of Technology Services and designated as district Web servers may be configured as Web/FTP servers. XYZ Schools is not responsible for the appropriateness of any material linked to its own site which is not hosted on its own webservers under its own domain name.
